WHAT IS WWSA?

Women Who Sail Australia is just that - a group of women interested in boats.

Some of us live on boats and some of us want to. Some of us are cruisers and some of us are racers. Some of us know a great deal about boats, and some, not much at all. We are single; we are married; we have kids; we are retired. What connects us is our love of boats and the marine environment.

When we started out in January 2014, we were tiny - just 10 members! As of 2025, our group boasts over 7000 members Australia-wide (plus Aussies on boats internationally).

Our Facebook group is private and cannot be published elsewhere (and is for women only). This website is public and for everyone!
